Soyang Europe - From Lancashire with Love

In Soyang Europe’s latest blog, Mark Mashiter discusses how the business’s Lancashire roots help it to stand out from the competition.

While providing high quality products and solutions to the customer is of course critically important, here at Soyang Europe, we like to go that extra mile for all our clients, providing them with focused and friendly service each step of their journey.

We believe this level of customer service is what sets us apart from the competition. Soyang Europe is both UK-based and UK-owned, meaning every time you pick up the phone, you will come straight through to one of our sociable staff at our location in Accrington in glorious Lancashire.

Our desire to help and support customers stems from our Lancashire roots. After all, Lancashire folk are well known for their hospitality and friendly nature, and we believe it is only right we carry this over into how we run Soyang Europe as a business – all with the aim of supporting customer growth.

We’re always working behind the scenes; although it may look very calm on the surface with our proverbial swan, we are working away in the background trying to develop new things. We’re not thinking of the next six months, we’re thinking of thenext six years.

When we do sales calls and visit our current and potential customers, I always ask them what they want, what are they being asked for by their customers and what’s missing?

We might have an idea that we think is brilliant, but our customers might disagree. So, it is up to us to find out what application the customer is working on and what sort of solution they need to carry out the job, right down to core details like flame retardancy. We treat our customers as partners; it’s not just about the sale, but the long-term relationship.

Our home is your home

Of course, the best way to experience the quality of our many products and solutions is to see them up close. We are always delighted to welcome customers from right across the UK to our specialist location in Accrington, in the shadows of the beautiful Pendle Hill; not only as we get to demonstrate our leading products first hand, but we also get to show off the beautiful Ribble Valley.

While you are in the town checking out the latest Soyang Europe has to offer, why not stick around, explore the local area, and experience the place we are lucky enough to call home?

For those who have not previously had the pleasure of visiting Accrington, the town lies in Hyndburn in the heart of the picturesque Pennine Lancashire. We are perhaps best known as being the supplier of the building blocks for the world, with bricks manufactured in the town being used to help create famous structures such as New York’s Empire State Building and, a little closer to home, Blackpool Tower.

Learn more about our town’s rich culture with a visit to Howarth Art Gallery, Lancashire’s finest arts and crafts house and garden, or if you fancy making a weekend of your trip, try a relaxing stay at the Mercure Dunkenhalgh, a hotel and spa set inside a beautiful 700-year-old country manor house.

If shopping is more your thing, Accrington delivers. With fabulous independent boutiques, the 21st century Arndale Shopping Centre and 19th century Victoria Market Hall all within easy reach, there is something for everyone. Add in nearby Oswaldtwistle Mills, housed in five former weaving sheds and home to more than 80 discount outlets, and there is plenty to keep you busy.

Should you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, then why not explore the spectacular countryside surrounding our town? The 31-mile circular Hyndburn Clog passes through remarkably diverse countryside and offers amazing views of the scenic Hill Country. Serious walkers can tackle the entire route, while for those who fancy a shorter stroll, the walk is broken down into seven, more manageable stages.

While the print, graphics and display industry may be a global one, and it is almost guaranteed that you will deal with suppliers and manufacturers from around the world, nothing quite beats the service of a local business. At Soyang Europe, we couple our incredible experience and knowledge with a friendly service and easily approachable staff to offer customers the best of both worlds.
